  A. lookupai is a Japanese-first GEO/AEO optimisation SaaS that helps companies, stores and brands get recommended or cited by generative AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot. We offer four tiers from 9,800 JPY/month (Lite) to 98,000 JPY/month (Pro) plus Enterprise. Operated by Jimolab LLC (Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan), launched May 2026, focused on the Japanese SME market that overseas tools do not reach.

• Q. What are GEO and AEO? +

  A. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) refer to optimising your site so that generative AI search engines such as ChatGPT and Perplexity choose it as a citation source when generating answers. Unlike traditional SEO (Google ranking), the goal is to be the URL that AI references. Tactics include llms.txt, JSON-LD structured data, FAQPage schema, explicit AI-crawler allows in robots.txt, and Q&A-style content.

• Q. How can my company get recommended on ChatGPT? +

  A. We work in three phases. (1) Measure: query ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot daily with category, location and service-name keywords (e.g. 'Hachioji custom development', 'Coffee tree owner programme') to record current citation state. (2) Implement: deploy llms.txt, FAQPage, Organization JSON-LD and proper AI crawler allow rules on your site, and rewrite key pages in Q&A form with concrete proper nouns. (3) Distribute: surface canonical information on Wikipedia, Qiita, Reddit and other secondary sources that AIs learn from. lookupai provides the SaaS for (1) and the implementation packages from 300,000 JPY for (2)(3).

Lite 9,800 JPY/month (local stores; 10 keywords; 3 main AIs; weekly report), Standard 29,800 JPY/month (SMEs; 50 keywords; all 5 AIs; daily measurement; Slack alerts; competitor comparison), Pro 98,000 JPY/month (mid-market and agencies; 200 keywords; all AIs; 1-2h monthly Japanese marketing consulting; content recommendations), and Enterprise (custom keywords, SSO/SAML, dedicated CSM, OEM available). Standard is our flagship — 1/3 the price of AthenaHQ with full features in Japanese.

• Q. How is lookupai different from Profound, AthenaHQ or Peec AI? +
